Her Story
Born a runt and very weak, she received the blessing of light shortly after being born. Being the smallest of her village she was often picked on, and it only got worse after the death of her mother. To escape this Frenja poured herself into her education, learning as much dances and fighting styles the village could teach her, all except magic. Every time Frenja attempted to cast magic it would rebound and inflict terrible wounds on her arms, they could all heal without scarring, but it would lead to weeks of intense pain. Through her puberty she outgrew her own smallness and became quite large for her village. The taunting of her childhood had faded and she grew accustomed to her quiet life, making perfumes and colorful fabrics to be made into beautiful clothing. She brought up children of her own every 5 or so years until her peaceful existence was shattered. Her echo began to influence her dreams, showing her a distant future where the red moon that had hung in the sky since long before anyone could remember began to fall onto Hydaelyn. After months of these terrors and ruined nights of sleep; Frenja Left home. She bid her youngest, who was only 15 summers, not even an adult, goodbye and walked away from her quiet life, into a war. Frenja traveled to Eorzia and down to the great city of Thalanan, where she joined up with the Flames. During the battle Frenja suffered a terrible wound and is chronically injured, giving her a weakened right arm, chronic pain, and sometimes difficulties breathing. Later she traveled to Garlemald with the Eorzian contingent, where she suffered yet another injury, damaging her voice and causing it to sound rough and deeper for a woman. She also has pain speaking, and will say as little as possible as often as possible.
Frenja can sometimes feel off, ever since the final days it feels like a ghost is hanging over their shoulder..
